Living Mission

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20

As followers of Jesus we are called to live out this great commandment to GO and make disciples by teaching them to obey all of His commands. This is phase one of Living Mission- to seek and save those who are lost.

When Jesus returned to the Father in Heaven he sent the Holy spirit to dwell within all believers so that we would have the power to be His witness. Jesus is with us always through the power of his Holy Spirit within us. This is phase two of Living Mission. As a body of believers it is our responsibility collectively to share the Good News of Jesus to those who do not yet know him.

All we need to do is have a simple process to help us know how to be effective in allowing Jesus to be Living Mission in all of us.

We are pleased to partner with Steve Addison and the team from No Place Left to equip us with a simple process of making disciples who can make disciples. My prayer is that you will watch these short videos and the practice until you can do this process anywhere anytime with anyone. So that our God can add to His church daily those who are being saved.

Check out the videos below, watch each video and pause using your paper and pen to practice until you are confident that you can make a disciple and present the gospel clearly.

When you attend your Village or the weekly family gathering I would encourage you to bring in a blank A4 sheet of paper and practice on someone.

Enjoy the blessing and wonder of walking in obedience to Jesus words to make disciples till there is no place left on the Gold Coast that has not had the opportunity to hear the gospel. And just watch Jesus show up by His spirit in spectacular ways as you are simply Living Mission.
