Discipleship and Community Care

As we partner with the Holy Spirit to teach people to become fully devoted followers of Christ, our community care and discipleship team are committed to see people learn and grow, continually taking new steps in their journey as everyday disciples.

To this end, OurChurch is a multi-generational church of intentional small groups with a focus on family and healthy relationships where people are welcomed, challenged, loved and discipled.

Village Leaders

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

Our Villages and intentional small groups are missional communities, who gather for a time of prayer and learning, centred on His Word and led by His Spirit. Village Leaders facilitate the group as they care for one another, build relationships, and grow as disciples of Jesus.

Welcome and Care Calls

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

Team members pick up the phone and have a chat! Calls are made to welcome those new to OurChurch who have completed a connection card and are keen to know more about us. We also want to see intentional care calls made to connect with OurChurch family members and help them identify their next step on their faith journey.

Church Online Hosts

DURING SUNDAY EXPERIENCES

Church Online allows us to engage with people in the wider community and intentionally lead them into community. In addition we are able to support members of our own community who are house or hospital bound. Church Online Hosts facilitate the chat and discussion during the experience, and look for ways to engage and build relationship through conversation and prayer, helping the online community take their next step in their spiritual journey.
