​A new year brings with it the opportunity to declutter! It’s time for an early spring clean, and the chance to sell the things you aren’t using and no longer need!

Come join us at the very first Car Boot Sale at The Junction. It’s happening on Saturday 26th February. And all the proceeds from your car spot directly benefit our registered charity, Love This City. Love This City has a vision to see a thriving, healthy and connected community and serves the Gold Coast Community in many and varied ways.

For just $20 you can make some cash by selling your stuff!

Or if you love a secondhand bargain then you're sure to find it amongst the boot loads of preloved fashion, books, toys, homewares, tools, and brand new arts and crafts.

SELLER’S DETAILS

To reserve a space, please complete the below form.

TERM AND CONDITIONS

To register as a seller, please take note of the terms and conditions as outlined below-​

  • $20 donation per car space (tax deductible receipt will be provided for your donation to Love This City)

  • Entry to car park opens at 5.30am. Cars to be in place by 6.45am.

  • There are 15 sites available, and these will be allocated in sequence on arrival. 

  • Each site includes 2 car park spaces - one to park your vehicle, and one to sell from

  • Car Boot Sale will run from 07.00am - 11.00am (no vehicle movement between these times)

  • If you happen to sell out of all your wares early, or simply want to stop selling, there is a cafe on site to enjoy until the sale finishes at 10.30am

  • Sellers will need to bring their own equipment such as tables, racks etc. You are welcome to bring your own gazebo / shade structure but this must be secured with sand bags (bitumen car park prevents use of pegs). Car parks are each 2.5m wide, so just ensure that your shade structure fits within this.

  • Don’t forget to bring a change float, hat & sunscreen

ADDITIONAL COVID INFORMATION

Please adhere to social distancing in your selling space, and we suggest bringing hand sanitizer for your customers after handling goods and for your own use after receiving cash.

WET WEATHER

Should the event need to be cancelled due to wet weather, we will notify you using the details you have provided. A refund will be offered, or we can hold onto your donation for the next event.

​ADVERTISING AND SCOPE

We will be advertising the car boot sale on our social media sites, as well as on public event calendars.

The Junction is home to The Junction Cafe which will be open from 7am - 11.00am, and there will also be a number of guests in The Junction for the Retro Fit events happening on the same day.
