Evangelism | Out of Your Comfort Zone

TALK IT OVER

It’s not about risking to get MORE from this world, but risking ALL you have in this world for the Kingdom of Heaven!

Discussion Questions:

The scripture in Matthew 28:18-20 outlines the Great Commission, calling believers to make disciples of all nations. Sharing the gospel is RISKY- this command for the disciples may have cost them their lives.

The ally of RISK is FEAR.

The enemy of RISK is FAITH.

Discuss this with your group- have you experienced this?

Share a story...have you engaged in risky behaviour or stepped out faith for the Kingdom and God has met you? What did learn from this experience?

Who are you praying for? Spend some time in your groups talking about someone on your path that doesn’t yet know Jesus. How will you intentionally share faith with them this week? Make a commitment and agree to keep each other accountable.

As a group spend some time talking about ways you have shared your faith. Talk through the 30second testimony- what was your life like BEFORE you knew Jesus, what is it like now? There are more resources for living mission here: https://ourchurch.org.au/living-mission

Let’s get comfortable being uncomfortable for Jesus!

TRANSCRIPT

Yes, we are unpacking our word for the year. Pastor Kev shared with us, if you're new this morning or if you haven't been for a few weeks obviously the buildup leading into the word of the year, it was all revealed and the word is risk. R I S K. Now I don't, obviously saying up front, as Sam mentioned in the bunker, that we're not, we're not condoning stupidity at our church.

We're not saying, go and be risky church, come on, yeah, go and sneak onto that job site and climb the crane tower and hang off with one arm and take a selfie for Instagram. We've all done that, but we're not saying that's, we're not saying that's the thing we're condoning. We're not condoning stupidity or risky behaviour in that sense.

We're talking about risk.

We're talking about risk. when it comes to sharing our faith. That's the bottom line. We're talking about spreading the the gospel and we're going to sort of unpack that a little bit today and we're going to talk about the Great Commission and things that we talk about a lot here at our church. And so it gets it's summed up I guess in a statement that Kev shared in his message on the opening address when he when he opened this series on risk and presented us with the word of the year and it's a And it says it's not about risking to get more in this world, we're not trying to risk to get more in this world, it's about risking all that we have in this world for the kingdom of God or for the kingdom of heaven.

I'll say that again it's not about risking to get more in this world, it's about risking everything we have in this world for the kingdom of heaven. And that's risky. And whereas as we unpack and we sort of realize some steps and things that I guess we should be taking as Christians, as followers of Jesus, as followers of Jesus, then there's some risky things that happen because what it's doing is encouraging us to to get out of our comfort zone, isn't it?

It's encouraging us to stop being comfortable, stop putting aside that challenge that we might be facing when it comes to maybe a person in your family or a person that you go to work with or uni or school and stepping out and taking a risk. You know, it's not the the word risk or the challenge to be risky is not new.

It's not a new thing. Jesus actually himself in charged his disciples his his group of followers that he started with way back at the beginning Jesus charged them to be risky he said guys you got to be risky you got to get out there and he presented them with something that we call the Great Commission and we talk about it a lot here at our church and it's in the book of Matthew chapter 28 verse 18 and it says then Jesus came to them and said all authority in heaven And on Earth has been given to me.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I'm with you always to the very end of the age. That's a portion of scripture that we call the Great Commission.

It was Jesus charging his disciples. We, we, he was about to ascend into heaven to be with his father and he gave him this, like this last command, this last sort of pep talk, if you like. Now, what he's saying is I need you guys to be risk takers. You got to be risky. And when you understand the context of the situation, it sort of comes to light a little bit better.

You see the disciples, group of 12 and there was probably a few more at that point when he, when he shared this, they were the followers of Jesus. They were Jesus followers. And now Jesus, he wasn't the most popular guy when it came to the religious leaders and the authorities of the day. I mean, we know the story, it's coming up at Easter.

They falsely accused him, they tortured him, they beat him, and then they crucified him to death on a cross. So it's fair to say he wasn't on the top 10 list of favorites when it came to those guys, to the religious leaders. And the disciples were his followers. They were part of his gang. And it's like, he's saying, guys, I need you to go and step out into the world.

They were they started the first church, the early church we call. They started the first church and it was called a movement that was called the way. They were part of the way and it was, it was all referring back to Jesus being the way to, to, to God, the way to heaven. And so they had this movement, but because it was so risky and because of the connections to, to Jesus, they a lot of them would meet underground or in secret and they'd have all these special secret signals to know who was who and who was part of the group.

And so they were very cautious and they would, they would, they would sort of stay out of the spotlight. And they would be very cautious about going out and and sharing their faith and who they were connected to Jesus. And so then that's how they were living. They were in this sort of situation like that.

And then Jesus comes out. He's about to, he's about to go back to heaven and he's like, all right guys come together. Right, I need you to go and be as risky as you can possibly imagine. I want you to go out to all the world, preach the gospel, preach my name. Go to all the nations and make more disciples. I want you to go out there.

You've got to get out there. You've got to go and preach out loud. You've got to go and see the people. You've got to build more, get more church groups and gatherings together and meet in homes and, and all these things. He's saying you've got to go do it. And they're all like, Whoa, what?

Jesus is saying you've got to go and be risky. This is going to be a huge risk for you guys, because remember they were, whoo, they were, they were not wanting any spotlight just now, just yet, just after the whole thing with Jesus and what happened. So Jesus is saying you've got to get out there, you've got to take risks.

So as we look at that word for the year, or our word for the year, risk. We can think it's a little bit strange, strange word, risk, want you all to go out and be risky, but it's quite simple really. It's quite a simple word and as I mentioned before it comes down to we need to go and share our faith. We need to share our faith.

Church, guys, we need, we need to share our faith. That's really what it boils down to and to do that we have to be risk takers because sometimes we've got to get out of our comfort zone to do that. Now if you're new here this morning, if you, this might be your first time here to, in a church or in church, this is, this is what we're about.

So stick with me. I'm sure it'll, it'll come to light. I hope you understand. But we're talking about who we are as Christians. We're Jesus followers. And this is what we're called to do. We're called to share our faith. And it can be risky. So risk everything that we have. for the kingdom of God. Risk everything we have in this world for the kingdom of heaven.

Now risk, when you look at that word risk, been looking at it, risk has a friend, it has an ally, if you like, and it also has an enemy. So the, the ally to risk, and Kev, Touched on this and I believe God really highlighted something to him this morning for someone that was online, people are here as well, but the ally to risk, the friend to risk is fear.

Fear is a big one. Fear makes that thing that seems risky actually seem impossible to do. It highlights it, it pumps it up, it is the friend of risk. It gives risk a pat on the back. And says, you can't do this. Man, don't even try and do that. Don't talk to that person. Oh, you've seen how they reacted to that other guy in the office.

Don't do it. Don't do it. And fear comes in. It pumps it up, makes things look bigger. Fear has the ability, and what Tev was sharing that the Lord highlighted this morning, it's so true. Fear has the ability to take control of your body and makes you run, makes you want to run away from things but even worse sometimes it freezes you up.

Fear completely freezes you, takes away your words, holds your tongue and you're just gripped by this thing. Probably everyone in this room can remember a time of fear in their life. You can probably go, oh yeah I remember that time, that was pretty scary. I've got, I've got a list, not a list, I don't write, I sit up in bed and write lists but mentally in my mind, I've got a list of probably the scariest moments in my life and and there's one particular one that really stands out and it was when I was a young, I was an apprentice electrician and my my boss had just bought a brand new van, brand new van, had it all fully stocked with all the gear and all the stuff and, and it was his little pride and joy, he loved it.

And we were on a job site, and there was a house that was getting built, and the there's a delivery happening, there's a delivery coming, so he said, so he threw me the keys, and he said, Simon, can you just reverse the van down the driveway so they can get in? I was like, yeah, no worries. Now there was no driveway on this, it was just a dirt track going up because it was still getting built, the house, right?

And we'd had a little bit of rain. Now, this driveway was like a track that went up, and then there was like this steep embankment that went down the side. So I went out to the car, I hopped in, and I sat in the car, I sat in, I didn't do anything! I didn't do anything! I sat in, I put the key, I took the handbrake off, and the car didn't roll, the wheels didn't roll, the car just started to slide, like this!

And then it started not sliding backwards but sliding down to the side and it just started going eeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaah and I was like that down this embankment. And I froze. I couldn't call out I couldn't wind the window down. I was just frozen in fear. I was frozen. I thought, my life flashed before my, I thought I'm going to die.

I'm either going to die in a car wreck or my boss is going to kill me. Either one. Not a good ending. And I just froze in fear and it took my words away, I couldn't call out, I couldn't do anything. And that's what fear does. Fear freezes you up. Fear grips you. It holds you in your place and it stops you from moving forward.

So for those people that Kev was talking to this morning, that God highlighted about fear. This morning is the time that we need to break that fear. You need to break it. And there's a scripture that I'm gonna read and Ruth even shared it last week. And I really, so I really believe that God is trying to point something out here to all of us.

Fear. It's an ally to risk. It's a friend of risk. It makes risk look bigger than what it is. Fear will say, don't try that. Don't, don't try that. It's never gonna work. That person is never gonna listen to you. That's what fear does. It stops you from moving forward and it freezes you up. 2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 7 Ruth shared about this and it's a proclamation it's a it's a it's a declaration and it says for God did not give us a spirit of timidity or a spirit of fear it says in some translation but a spirit of power of love and self discipline.

Church they have to be more than words on a page. They have to be something that you put into your heart and that you live. Especially those that are feeling like they've been gripped by fear recently or even at this moment now. God has not given you a spirit of fear. I'm telling you now, God has not given you a spirit of fear.

He's given you a spirit of power and of love. That's it. There's your promise right there. You don't have a spirit of fear. You might feel scared. You might feel fear. But that's not from God. Get that out. God's given you a spirit of power. If we call ourselves Christians, if we call ourselves followers of Jesus, then we need to embrace the fact that God has not given you a spirit of fear.

He's given you a spirit of power. Don't let it hold on. Don't let it hold on to you. Don't let it freeze you up, and especially don't let it take your words away. Because at times when you're in a situation it's really good to be able to call out. So if fear is the ally or the friend to risk, then the enemy of risk is faith.

Do you see what I'm doing? I've sort of twisted it around a little bit haven't I? So fear is the ally and faith is the enemy of risk. Faith. Faith is the enemy. Faith makes that risky thing. seem possible. Hey, I can do this. You hear other people's stories of how they stepped out in faith and you go, Oh, if they can do it, then I can do it.

Faith is the enemy. Risk doesn't like faith. Risk wants to try and squash faith. You know, faith makes it seem possible. You know, what if that person at work listens to what you have to say? Or, you know, what if your brother, what if your brother finally lets you explain this whole Jesus thing to him? After all these years?

It's possible. It can happen. The enemy of risk is faith and it will cause you to step out of your comfort zone because you step out in faith. You know, the Golden Gate Bridge, I think we've got a picture of it. The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It went way behind schedule in its construction. Went way, it was running right behind schedule.

Everyone was jumping up and down and quite, the developers were quite nervous about the whole thing. Because what was happening is they were getting, there was too many casualties. There's too many people that were falling over the edge, and dying unfortunately. And so productivity went right down.

Everyone was nervous, everyone was scared, and so they were just, the productivity and the pace of the building went so, so slow. So the management, they decided, you know what, we're going to build a safety net. So they installed a safety net underneath the work zone, where all the guys would be working. And so they had this safety net there.

But even with the safety net on, production was still slow. Work was still slow, people were still sort of nervously, you know, creeping along. And it wasn't until someone actually fell over the edge. They fell over the edge and they landed on the safety net and bounced back. They had smiles on their face.

And everyone's like, Oh, it works. Yes. Oh, it works. And then suddenly, like almost overnight, the productivity tripled. It went so fast. They were like, yeah, everyone was just dancing. And I thought, this is great. I can't wait to get to work. Because the safety net was there. So what changed? What changed? It wasn't the fact that the net had been installed, it was the fact that everyone knew that it worked.

Everyone knew that, oh right, it actually, oh they would have thought what's management doing sticking this thing in, it's never gonna work and then they see it in action and they go, oh it works. That's what changed. Their faith in the net. was established. They said, Oh, it works. So faith is the enemy of risk.

Where there's risk, if you walk into it with faith, then you need to understand that God has got it. God's got it.

You understand that God's got it? It raises your faith level. And you can say, you know what, taking a risk, stepping out of my comfort zone, it isn't that bad. Because I know that God's got it. What do I mean by that? Well John chapter 6, verse 44, it's a very small little portion in the scripture. It's Jesus speaking and he says no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them.

The Father draws them. So right there we can see we have faith that God is the one who does the work. God's the one that does it, it's not you, it's not me, it's nothing that you can say, no crafty words you can put together. And what that does is it releases the pressure off you. That it's not about what you can do, God's the one that will draw them in.

God's the one that will talk to your brother, that will talk to your sister, talk to their heart obviously. God's the one. that will reach that person that you go to work with or go to school or uni with. That takes the pressure off. God's the one who draws them in. It's not about us. We don't have to win them over.

We don't have to convince them. It's nothing that we can do. God's the one who draws them. God knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. All we have to do is our bit.

We have to do our bit. I looked it up, evangelism, I looked it up. Evangelism is zealous advocacy or support of a particular cause. I'll say that again, it's zealous advocacy or support of a particular cause. So let's take it away from our Christian faith and let's look at evangelism. Just say you go out for dinner to a brand new restaurant.

And you go back to work the next day and you're like guys you gotta go to this restaurant it is amazing the meals are massive it's a great atmosphere they had live music the prices were really good it was amazing it was such a good restaurant you gotta go what you did right there was you just evangelized you were just an evangelist for that restaurant

supportive, being an advocate for a particular cause. And the cause that we have, oh it's just this little thing called eternal life. It's the kingdom of heaven. It's reaching the world that desperately needs a savior. We're talking about being an evangelist for the kingdom. If we take some of that enthusiasm that we have for other things in our lives and put it towards the kingdom of heaven.

put it towards being a Christ follower then we'll become evangelists just by default

and that can be risky we go back to that word for the year that can be risky it can be risky because not everyone wants to hear about Jesus have you discovered that in life not everyone wants to hear about him a lot of people have never even heard about him

And they look at you like you're from another planet. And so it can be risky to get out of your comfort zone. And I don't know, there might be someone here that's thinking, Oh man, I've worked in that office for five years. And no one there knows that I'm a Christian. So that can be risky, to now step out.

And say, Oh, I've been a Christian all my life. People go, What?

If we want the world to change, we need to evangelize. We need to rise up when it comes to the kingdom of heaven. We need to go and preach the gospel. So what I thought this morning, just to wrap up, to finalize what we're talking about here today, is we're going to look at the three P's, the letter P, the three letter P's of, just a little, the three letter P's.

evangelism. The three Ps. The first one is presence. Presence. What is it? It's the presence that we carry with us. It's the presence of Jesus that we as Christians carry. We're followers of Jesus Christ so we will carry his presence with us wherever we go. So that means we should be different to the world.

We should look different. And not just the obvious like, you know, you gotta go and get drunk and take drugs and sleep around. It's more the things that are subtle that people see the difference in. And usually they can speak a lot louder than those big ones. It's the way you carry yourself or hold yourself when things don't go well.

And we all know that happens in family and work. Things don't quite go as planned. And so people will see the way that you carry yourself and that's you carrying that presence. You know, when you've got struggles at home or you've got health battles going on or financial hassles, relationship challenges, the way that you carry yourself will show that you have tapped into a power source.

I had a guy, good friend of mine, and he worked for me for many years. And he went, and he went to another company. He wanted to learn some different skills. And so he moved on to a different company. It was all good. We still catch up. We caught up every week. Talked. And one day he rang me. And he said, Simon, I can't, I can't believe this.

He said, I've just turned up to the office. And it's all closed up. And there's guys walking around with suits in there. And they've come out and told us that the company's gone belly up. He said, I've got to hand in my tools, I've got to hand in my work truck, I've, I've got no job. And I know that this might ring true for some people here.

And all of a sudden, the bottom is taken out from under you. The floor has been taken away. He said, I've got no job. Now he had a young family. And so I was listening to him and I said, mate, are you okay? Are you, are you okay? And he paused and I'll never ever forget. I'm still to this day I remember where I was sitting.

I was in my car sitting. I was looking straight ahead at this building. And I remember he said, you know what? I'm okay. He said, God is in control. He said, I know that God is in control. And it just blew me away. I was like, whoa. You think about that. Especially something like a job, like a career when the bottom is taken out.

Like instantly it can send you into a, into a tailspin and you know what he was able to catch up with some of his colleagues because they didn't take it well. Most of his colleagues went off the Richter. They just, they were screaming and punching the fence and smashing into things. Some were just over in the corner just crying and they all knew that he was a Christian through the years that he worked there.

And so over the next few weeks, he was able to catch up with some of them and talk with them and share with them about his experience. And he did. He told me that they had situations where people would say, What's going on, man? How come you can be so calm? And he was able to say, You know, I know that my God is looking after me.

That's the presence that we carry. We carry that presence of Jesus. As a Jesus follower, we need to carry that. We all do carry it, but sometimes we don't carry it out. out on our sleeve if we tuck it away a little bit. Well it's time to bring it out. Then we have the second P which is proclamation.

Proclaim. We need to speak. We need to speak up. We need to say something. We have to give a response. As Scripture says, I think Ruth mentioned it last week as well, we need to be ready at all, at all times to give an account for who we are as a Christian. We need to have a response and the best one you can have, we've talked about this as well here at our church, the best one you can have is your story.

It's your story. This is what my life was like before I met Jesus. This is how I met Jesus and this is how my life changed after I had Jesus with me. My life before this is how it happened and this is how I changed. It's a simple little process that you can go over, you can even write it down to learn it, to practice it.

But you get it into your heart, heart and into your head. And you own that, because that is your story. No one can deny. A journalist, a TV reporter, no one can deny your story. It's yours. So, proclamation, be ready to give an account. Be ready to give an account. The last one is persuade. Persuasion. And this one, this one has to happen.

It has to happen. It's a quivery lip moment, I like to call it. A quivery lip moment. What's that? Well, for those of you that are married in the room, alright, or maybe you're dating, maybe you just started, they've just had Valentine's Day, maybe something happened right then at Valentine's, I don't know. But there was a moment in your timeline as a couple, as a relationship, and it's generally right down the very start, but there was that moment when you had to ask that person out, didn't you?

You had to ask that person out. You had to say, oh hey I was wondering, you know, would you like to go out for dinner sometime or go to the movies? I can see some people twinkling each other's eyes, Remember that? Remember that, honey? That had to happen. That persuasion point had to happen. The ask. Hey, would you like to do this?

And she didn't say, oh, who else is coming? No one else is coming.

It's just going to be you and me. Like a date, you know?

That moment has to happen, that persuasion moment has to happen. You stepped out and you said something. It's the same with being a Christ follower and that person in your life, in your world that you might be sharing with, that person that knows you're a Christian, the person that you talk to about, you know, what you've done on the weekend or be in a village and maybe they've shown interest and you've had good conversations in the tea room or around lunch or whatever.

That moment has to come where you say, you know, is this something you might be interested in? Have you ever thought of, you know, would you like to know more about Jesus and how he can change your life? Would you like to become a Christian? These are words, sadly, we don't use a lot of, but that persuasion point has to happen.

Hey, would you like to do this? We, we talk about, we have encouraged like a program that we do through the church, like asking someone to read the Bible with you. It can start there even. Might have a neighbor that you catch up for a cup of tea once a week or whatever and say, Hi, would you like to read the Bible with me?

That persuasion point has to happen.

We can show Jesus by our actions when we carry the presence. We can show our love for one another. We can show our compassion. When people ask questions, we can answer them. We can proclaim who Jesus is to us. We can do all these things, but the quivery lip moment has to happen. We have to ask that person.

You know, the good news, if, if that moment is something that you feel really deeply, that you struggle with, and there are people, I know there are people that do. You might be able to journey with someone to a certain point and then you think, Oh man, that persuasion point. I just can't do it. I don't know how to do it.

I'm not sure. Well, the good news is, is you're not alone. You just look around. You're in a big group here. You're in a family. You've got your church family all around you. You can bring that person maybe to village or maybe you have a catch up with someone else from church at a coffee shop. Or you can bring them on a Sunday and maybe for that first time you can stand with them and talk with someone else and you can all talk together and that person might be the one the catalyst that you need just to to persuade that person to ask that question and then you learn from that and you're watching oh that's not too hard and so the next time it gets that little bit easier and you can do it on your own.

There's no cookie cutter way, there's no right or wrong way of doing this. We share our faith and we see the kingdom expand and grow. We go and make disciples any way we can.

And we do it all with the faith net underneath. The faith net knowing that God's the one who does the drawing. God's the one who does it, we just have to do our bit. And don't be afraid. We need to be evangelists. You know, this is something that is up to us because there is no plan B. Jesus shared that great commission with his disciples and he said, guys go into all the world, preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations, get out there, go on, have a go.

If it doesn't work, I've got plan B in my pocket. There's no, there's no plan B. There is no plan B. We're it. It's us. Kev shared a story about a bridge as well, opening when he opened up this series. The Quebec Bridge in Canada. It collapsed twice during construction. They ran into all these issues and they changed things and and they made mistakes.

But the fact, but not building that bridge was not an option. The bridge had to get built, didn't it Kevin? The bridge had to be built. It was required, it was a necessity. So not building it wasn't an option. It has to happen. That's, that's us going into all the world. It has to happen. There's no other option.

There's no plan B. Evangelism is a need to have. The Church of Christ will not grow unless we go. Look at that. You can make, that's a, that's a, that's a bumper sticker, that one. So we need to evangelize. We need to evangelize. We carry the presence of Christ, we proclaim, get your story, get your story down.

Learn your story. Simple three step. Before, how it happened, and after. And then the clincher, the quivery lip. You've got to ask the question. Hi. Would you like to know more about Jesus? Hey, why don't we come and meet with some friends of ours or right here in our lounge room. Let's pray together. And don't let fear grip you.

As Kev mentioned earlier in our worship time, if you're running from fear, this morning is the morning right now. To own and take hold of the fact that God has not given you a spirit of fear. It's not from God. If you're fearing fearful, you feel like you're running, just know that that is not from God, so you don't need to have it.

Let it go. God has not given you a spirit of fear. Fear will grip you and freeze you up and take your words away. Oh hey, did I tell you what happened with my story? With the, with the, with the van? So, so, my life flashing before my eyes, right, I'm like this, down this hill. Out of nowhere, this tradie just comes roaring up in his four wheel drive, right next to me.

He jumps out. He looked like Thor. He had like his, his mullet was flowing. He flicked his mullet away. He said, yeah, you're right. He didn't sound like Thor. And I was like, no. He grabbed out a tow rope, hooked it under the thing, onto his thing, and he just dragged me back up the hill. Like that, it was like instantly, it happened like with a blink of an eye.

And I was rescued. Ha ha ha. But fear, held me tight. I still remember that moment. I can remember what the house looked like. I can remember everything. Because it was so fearful. I was held tight. I was frozen. We need to take risks. We need to take risks. We need some risky behavior, not stupidity, risky behavior when it comes to getting out of our comfort zone.

And to do that we've got to squash fear and we've got to build our faith and know that God's the one who's got it. God's got it. We just have to do our bit. Do your bit. And it might take a process of time, and that's okay, there's no panic, no rush, if you're taking your time, but you've got to continue to do your bit.

Because we are risking it all, not to get more in this world. We are risking all that we have in this world, for the Kingdom of Heaven. We can do it church, we can do it. Let's pray together. Father we do thank you. We thank you, Lord, that you love us so unconditionally. Lord, that you love us. You love us so much that you don't want us to stay the same.

You want us to change. You want us to grow. And as we just even think of our own personal journey that we've had with you, Lord, how we were before and what we are, how we met you and how we are now, how we've changed. Lord, we know that that is your doing. We know that you care about us. And we thank you for that.

Lord, we thank you. I pray, Lord, for each and every one of us in this room, me included, I pray for all of us. Lord, I know that there's times when we've been not forthcoming with our Christian faith. We might be slack even. And Lord, I pray for your forgiveness. I pray, Lord, that you forgive us for that.

Forgive us for neglecting the opportunities that you've passed on our way. And Lord, I pray that this morning be a morning that we, we squash that fear. We say, no, you have not given us a spirit of fear. And Lord, that we'll step into faith and know that you are the one who draws those people in. And so we pray for each person that might be in our world.

Lord, I pray for those that even right now they can highlight that person in their mind that they're thinking of. And Father, I pray that you will continue and begin to just, just stir that person. That you will draw them in. But most of all, give us courage and give us strength and wisdom, Lord, to do our bit.

Help us to do our bit. And to ask the question. Help us to ask the question and not be afraid. Lord, give us words to say. And Lord, we just want to just wrap all this up in faith. And wrap all this up in your love, Lord, and just thank you for this opportunity. Thank you that you love us, that you care for us.

And Lord, we just do pray over these things. And pray, Lord, you help us to be risky. Help us to get out of our comfort zone and move forward. And we pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.
