How To Let God’s Love Overflow In Your Life

 TRANSCRIPT

Over here. I have a little example for you. Here's what I want you to know. You can't pour out what you have not put in, so if you don't have anything in, you can't pour it out, right? That's correct. That's simple enough, isn't it? However, we all know that nothing ever stays nothing and gets filled with something, so you'll be filled with something and whatever you do put in.

That's the second part of the statement. You can only pour out what you do put in. So you can only pour out what's in there. So if you are well connected with Christ, well connected, you can pour out into people's lives, something pure, something clean, something wonderful, something that's a blessing. If you are not connected, and you are being driven by the things of this world, the brokenness of this world.

You are gonna be pouring out something else and it's not gonna look good. Suddenly things, people's lives around you are not going so well. So the context through this, you're gonna see this example being used in different ways. Nothing ever stays, nothing. It's not, oh I'm just, I'm not gonna think for nothing.

I'm for nothing. No, it doesn't work that way. Nothing is always filled with something. It's either felt with something that's in line with God, something that's eternal or something that's coming out of the brokenness of this world, which we are seeing all the time. The sad part is whatever is inside here expands, it grows, and eventually it will spill out, and when it does spill out, if you've got something going on deep inside of you, that is wrong.

That is broken, that is inconsistent. It spills out. When it spills over, it's like a damn bursting. It's like a damn burst and over it flows and that spells disaster. So this is such an important topic for us to talk about. Now, I dunno about you, but I've had some fairly dark seasons in my life. I was pondering over this week and some, if you've been around for a long time, you'd know that I had clinical depression before I came down to take over the church down here, and I was kinda running on empty.

So I was still doing my job. I was still pastor. Everybody was still thinking everything's okay, but inside I was imploding inside. Everything was going wrong, and the people around me knew it that were in close. They knew, yeah, you are there, but there's not a lot of love coming out of you. There seems to be a lot of frustration and I had to do some soul searching and for me it was a very strange time because when I finally soul searched, the thing that I was most distressed about was the fact that I felt that there was something about everything wrong with the church in the West, and we are still seeing it break out every single day across the world.

And I got so frustrated. I became so angry that God wouldn't fix things the way that I felt he should fix things because after all, I do know some things that he doesn't know. I know he is omnipotent. I know he is all knowing, but I do know some things and he wouldn't do it. So what I did was then here.

Don't throw anything at me. Now, what I did was if you are not gonna do that, I'm not gonna talk to you anymore. So I am not gonna do my soap devotions. I'm not gonna listen to you because I think you should be doing something and you're not doing it, and it's a mess and it's wrong. And so that is what is commonly known as spiritual suicide.

So then what happened is I really tanked and I tanked fast and the people around me, it was not a pleasant time. And I have to honor my wife Anne, because I would not be here if not for her. In that space. I was not nice. You laughed last week when I talked about the gloves of love that you put on to hold someone that's not in a good place.

They had to do that because I was imploding because the stuff had gone on in me and now what was inside me was no longer this. I cut this flow off. This is gone. And I'm getting more and more frustrated and I'm getting more and more angry. And by the time I got to the heights of this man, it was nothing for me to lose it completely.

I'm pastoring. I'm pastoring. Lose it completely. Bash doors, yell, scream, swear, and then go walking all night long. Just walk off into nothingness. And I realized finally. Stopping my sub devotions wasn't a good thing because I stopped the flow of God in the flow of love and then everything else began to fester and be able to take it took over.

It completely took over, and I would spill over in very ungodly and ungracious ways and hurt the people that I love. During this time, Anita was living with us. She just shared before she'd probably been with us a few years. And so she kinda, like one day I was coming in carrying my usual big black cloud with me.

That's how bad it became. And she looked at Anne and she said, oh God, here comes happy. Now, that was not a term of endearment, that was a term of just how bad he had got. It's this is, oh, here he comes again. This is terrible. Now the worst part is they still call me happy, but now it's a term of endearment.

But it's also a consistent reminder of the fact that when you stop this, when you get the wrong inflow and you cut that off. You can go bad really quickly. Friends, it is a super dangerous thing to either not have a relationship with God, so you've got no positive inflow or to cut it off because maybe God's not doing things the way that you feel like he should do it.

So I realized something was going on and I had to change it, and over the years I did that, but it didn't come quickly. Remember, again, you can't pour out to anybody else. What you haven't got in and what you do have in it will spill out, and when it comes out, it will usually come out in serious frustration and the dam breaks and people get hurt, and sometimes people even die.

I was thinking about a few examples from scripture that I could just share with you. One obvious one comes is Judas. Now we all know Judas. He was one of the disciples. He was one of the 12. He got to hang around with Jesus for. Three years seeing the miracle, seeing everything now. Judas looked after the money for them, and there was a reason for that.

Because Jesus had an issue with money. It infers the fact that he would be he was stealing out of the pot. So people are giving to Jesus ministry and he's helping himself out of that. He had three years with Jesus that he could have dealt with what was going on in the well of his life, but he never did it.

Then an opportune moment circumstance happened. A lady came in, very broken lady that had been set free by Jesus, and she pours this perfume bottle onto Jesus. It was worth like a year's wages and Judas loses it. Because he says, that is such bad stewardship. You should have given that to us and we could have sold it, and we could have used all that money for the poor.

This is such bad stewardess, and he was so angry about that, but she's doing something to prepare Jesus for his death, braille and resurrection. Out of that moment, something went on in his well. This thing burst to the surface, so he decided to go and talk to the religious leaders. What will you give me to betray Jesus?

How about 30 pieces of silver? That's the deal. I'll take that. And so he sells Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver, and then he finally realizes what he has done. I have just betrayed an innocent man to his death, and Judas is sorrowful. He's repentant. He's devastated for what he has allowed to spill over.

But he can't fix it. What's done has done, and then he goes off and he hangs himself. What's in there? Will come out. It will come out, and when it does come out, it is devastating. When it spills over, it can damage. Here's another example. Exactly the same, around the same context, one day. They're talking and Jesus and Paul's talking and they're saying, we need some funds to help.

There's no, we don't have any kinda social security here in these, in the first century. And so a guy called Barnabas comes and Barnabas sells a block of land or whatever. He's got a pro property and he. Brings the money and he put it at the apostle's feet and he says, you guys distribute that. Now I don't need to know that.

I want my left hand to know what my right hand is doing here. I give it to you, go off, and people go, amazing Barnabas, you are so all in for this mission. So all in, and he walks away. Another couple was watching on Ananias and Sari and they said, Hey, we wanna do the same thing. So they go off and they sell a property.

And then they get the money for it, and then they just talk together and say, Hey listen, that's a lot of money. How about we just say, we only got this figure and then we'll take the cream off the top and that'll be amazing. And they agreed this thing together. That was a bad move. 'cause God was listening.

And so when they come, Ananias comes and stands before them and says. He gets asked so is this what you sold the property for? Oh yes. Yes. That's it really. How is it that you have decided in your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit? You haven't lied to man. You've lied to God. See those guys over there?

They're about to bury you, and he falls down dead. Now, this is a good church service. He falls down dead and they go and bury him. Three hours later, the Mrs turns up. Safari. Oh hey, safari. How's it going? Good. Really good. Yeah. Did you sell your property? Oh yeah. Got a monster for it? Yeah. So how much was it this, how is it that you and your husband decided together that you wanted to pretend to be all in like Barnabas while not being all in?

It was your property. You could have done with it what you want. You didn't have to give anything, but you've lied not to men, but to God. You see those guys over there sweating you. They just buried your husband. They're about to bury you. She falls over dead. Wow, that's a good church service. Can you imagine what would happen right now?

I don't have enough shovels.

What I'm trying to point out to you is just this, it's the things that are going on in us that have not been surrendered to Christ. They build, and you might think you have them under control. But they have you under control. They have you under control what is ever filling you a jug, whether it's the love of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the character and nature of God or the things of this world through sin and death and brokenness and the art of this, whatever it is.

You can try and hide for a while, but eventually it will erupt. And when it spills over, it's devastating. Absolutely devastating. I think the issue in the world today in every society is that so many people are empty of God's love. They're empty of God's love, and they feel like, oh I don't have to worry about God.

I'm not really into that God stuff, so I'll just stay here with my nothingness without God. But nothing never stays nothing. It's always become something. And if you're not gonna include God in the equation, all you have is sin and death and the brokenness of this world to live out of. And you will always, with that starting point, come up with something not good.

You've gotta decide where are you gonna draw your life force from, and that's gonna spill out over you. With some of us, we just feel oh, if I can just get enough social media likes, if I can just get enough social media likes, that makes me feel good. And so therefore it's a, but it's a false affirmation.

Some of us feel like, oh, I just need to rest, so I'm gonna watch 25 seasons of something 'cause that's gonna give me rest. And you come out feeling 10 times worse. It doesn't give, it's a false rest. Some of us just like to hustle. It's if I can just get the next deal and the next deal and the next deal, I make more money out this, that and the other.

But it's all a false sense of something and it never lasts. Nothing in this world will ever satisfy the longing of a human soul, which is why people are so desperate worldwide. They got not enough God in the equation, way too much politics, way too much other junk going on, and they're getting in a huge mess and it's just spilling over.

That's why our church, our top level, our top value, sorry, is being spirit led. We have set of values. See them here. That we hold each other accountable. We live by them. We call each other out on them. Honor and respect if that's not going on. But the top one is being spirit led, which means that we want to be contagious carriers of the presence of God.

We want his presence, his power, his love. We want to be known. Jesus didn't say they'll know you're my disciples by your great preaching or your singing of great songs, or even your ability to debate. He didn't say that. He said, they'll know You're my disciples by your love. Love is what captures the human heart, because God is love.

John wrote about this. He said, God is love. That was a radical thought in the first century. Nobody thought that. That was a new thing that God was doing and it's amazing. That's what spills over. Both James and Jesus, they taught on this in different ways. Now, James was this half brother of Jesus.

He did not really believe that his big brother was the Messiah for most of the ministry life. It wasn't until after his death, burial and resurrection like Jesus had talked about this thing, but then he pulled it off. One, I'm gonna go with you as the Messiah, because he was sold out then, and then he became a very influential leader within the church.

Amazing. In the end, it cost him his life. In the end, he was, rumor has it thrown down off the temple, which is interesting. It was thrown off the temple and then stoned to death. But he wrote these words, he said, with our mouth, we praise our tongue, we praise God and our father, and with the same tongue, we curse human beings that have been made in his likeness.

I don't, he's going, I don't get it. What is going on here? He says, can fresh water and salt water come from the same spring? No, I don't get it. How can this be? How can this be that we have in one breath we will praise God and the next minute we will curse like another human being that's made in the image of God.

Now he got that. His adaptation of that what, which he journaled down and became an ancient manuscript that formed the Bible came outta what Jesus taught. Jesus said this, he said, buy their fruit. Or buy their spillover, buy their fruit, you'll recognize 'em. You don't pick thorn grapes from thorn bushes, from figs, from thistles.

Likewise, every tree that bears good fruit is good, and every tree that bears bad fruit is bad. That's wisdom, isn't it? A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, but a bad tree and a bad tree cannot bear a good fruit. Let me ask you a question. Lemme ask you a question. Is there any reason why a good tree would want to pretend to be a bad tree?

There's nothing to gain, is it? I'm already a good tree. I've already got the fruit, this, that, and the other. Is there any possibility that a bad tree might wanna pretend to be good? Have you ever come across, I know this is very rare. I know this is rare. Some of you are never have ever, at any stage ever.

Have you seen this? Have you ever met a Christian that says they love Jesus but behaves completely inconsistent? I've been in parties, I've been in parties where I've been talking to people and just sharing my faith and this, it's a lovely party. And then there's this one guy, and it's always a guy and he's always obnoxious and he's always drunk and he is drunk and he is all over and he is hitting on the ladies and all this.

It's oh, it's. Serious. And so I'm just quietly sharing my face, talking a bit about Jesus, that kinda stuff. And then he happens to hear that I'm a Jesus, I'm a Jesus follower too. And then he starts preaching to them. It's like, all I wanna say, please go away. You are no help to someone that's trying to find Jesus.

Because in one sentence you're kinda like, oh, but over here you're behaving like the devil. What's that about? It's this mixture. See, sometimes wolves will pretend to be sheep. Good trees, bad trees will pretend to be good at times just to give you enough good. So you feel like that's a really good tree, and then you get snarky into it.

So spillover. Spillover is really important. Where are you gonna draw from? Where are you gonna draw from? Can I say this to you? You need to create a rhythm. Of where you remain connected with Christ. I create a rhythm of God's connection to God's love. You gotta figure this out. That's what a spirit led life is.

That's what enables you, no matter what circumstance and what you see anywhere or hear, because you can't trust anything you see in here anymore. We are not in the information age, we're now in the misinformation age. So you have to be able to discern. What is going on here, but intimacy with God, connection with God, the Holy Spirit within you will teach you what's right and what is wrong.

Now, Jesus used two terms to help us understand this spillover. One is to do with intimacy and connection, and that was to do with the vine and the branches. And he said this, he said, remain in me. As I also remain in you, no branch can bear fruit by itself. It must remain in Levi. So therefore, Jesus is saying, if you remain intimately connected with me, you will bear fruit.

You'll have a good spillover, and people will get blessed. If you don't remain in me, your spillover is gonna be horrible. And instead of people getting blessed, they get cursed, they get damaged, they get hurt. So he is saying, you gotta figure this out. But I'm telling you, if you want fruit and if you read, go read this whole chapter of John 15, you'll say, he goes on and says, you can't do anything apart from me.

Really? You think he can, but you can't. I am an all powerful, all knowing, all consuming, all ever present. The only being that does not draw existence from anybody else. You need me. You somehow think that you can do this all by yourself. You can't. And he's saying, you can't bear a fruit unless you remain in me.

Jesus modeled this all the time. He would go off into the wilderness. He's God, but he goes off into the wildness on his own to spend time with his father before he does something. Why? Because you can't pour out what you don't have in what's not connected in. He spent a whole night praying before he picked his disciples, and even one of them wasn't so crash hot.

He spent a whole night before he made a decision. Why? Connection to the father, intimacy, making sure the connection's good before all of the big miracles that Jesus did. You think about the feeding of 5,000 people or raising of Lazarus from the dead, he sought his heavenly father first. He went to that connection first because public power flowed from private connection.

That's where your influence, whether it's in business, whether that's in your school, whether wherever it is, your influence comes out of your private connection with God, where he can keep filling you correctly so that the spillover out of you is gonna be a blessing to others. That's the important part.

If you don't get this connection remaining in the vine. Everything else you do in life is irrelevant. It's not gonna do, it's not gonna amount to anything. To give you a modern example about how this works how many of you use apps on a phone? You guys online, you use apps on a phone. You got an app for all different sorts of things.

App to build something, have to find something, app to play. Games. You've got apps. Apps. Apps run. How good are your apps when your battery goes flat?

How useful are they? No, they're useless. You can have all the apps in the world, all the different things in the world. You can have a great business, you can have a great family, this and that, but if the battery's flat on the app, makes no difference. Jesus is trying to help us understand you gotta remain in him.

That's the way your battery stays charged, then your apps for your family and business and that all start to make sense and they all got some good stuff coming through the background to keep you healthy. So that's the first thing. Remain in the vine. The second part was in what Anita shared. John chapter seven.

He said, if you stay tapped in here, man, he said, I tell you what out of you will flow rivers of living water. Not a trickle. Not a thimble fall. He said, rivers of it. Rivers of water means there's some spillover to come out of you if you aim connected to Christ, connected into the vine, but we have to be careful.

Because we talked about this when we did our soap devotions a few weeks back at the start of this very thing, he said, I am what the, I am the true vine. Why did he have to say, I am the true vine? Because he knows there are other false vines out there that we will try and. Get our sustenance from some of us.

Try and think if I just get the right person and if I get the right person in life, everything's gonna be perfect. That's all I need. If I can just make enough money, if I can just make enough money, that's gonna be awesome. If I just get, if I can just get that right thing and get enough likes on here, then I'll be able to do this, that and the other.

They're false vines. None of those things are bad in themselves, but if you're trying to make them the life force coming out of the brokenness of this world, they're gonna erupt and they're gonna destroy you, and they're gonna destroy your family as well. Here it is, God in love out equals blessing world in.

Destruction out is a curse.

What you've been witnessing over the last week is someone

that had something pretty bad down in here, something that was put into them, something that they never dealt with, and because they had no true love from God. This thing erupted with devastating consequences. And I gotta tell you, this is the whole problem. This is a story for another day, and we'll talk about it sometime.

That is the whole problem with the United States. They profess Jesus with their mouth, but operating system doesn't look anything like Jesus doesn't look anything like him. And that causes massive confusion in young people. When you say, Hey, follow Jesus. Jesus says, love your enemies, and then you go and do things that are the complete contrary to that.

It's completely confusing to people. If you love Jesus, you have to follow Jesus. You have to behave like Jesus. You have to think like him, walk like him, act like Him, speak like him. His love for people that were so aggressive towards him was unbelievable. I wish I could say that. I get that right at times, but I don't.

There are times that I don't get that so you've gotta remain in him. Now, if only you had a way, if only you had a way that you could remain consistently connected to Jesus every day, you could sit down, hear from him, let him speak to you, then apply to if only there was one way somewhere. If only God would've created something somewhere.

Soap devotions. All things go back to soap devotion, sitting at Jesus' feet, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to you, not so you can tra change or manipulate someone else, but so that you can actually be conformed to the image of Christ so that your well stays nice and clean. So what spills out of you is love.

And a pure love that's coming from God. That is such a blessing to people. So you've gotta find a rhythm. I suggest to people, do your soap devotions. If you dunno what that is, it means you haven't been around very long. Talk to someone, they'll be able to help you out. It's just a simple way of reading.

Listening, applying so that you change into the image of Christ and so that you don't end up going around saying one thing, Hey, I love Jesus, and then if that's what Jesus is like, I'm not so sure I really want something of Jesus. It becomes an inconsistency. So the intimacy first of the vine is where we get love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, folk gentleness and faith control.

They are the character qualities of God. The promise is if you will stay in there when you, what pours outta you is a river of life, not death. It is a river of life. And when we get that right, relationships don't suffer. And you are seeing things played on a massive macro scale across the world at the moment.

But here's the deal, this same principle of spillover, if you don't get this right in your marriage. Sooner or later, something erupts. And then before you know it, it's over. And everybody pays the price, especially the kids. So this happens in your business, you get a business partner, you think everything's okay, and everything's cool, and suddenly something goes wrong in one of the business partners and no one actually talks about it.

So we can actually resolve it. And then everyone thinks it's going great. Great. And the next minute, boom. So this is not just what's happening across the world today, but it's what happens in our daily life all the time. And we wanna be a church that's known for loving loving Jesus well, and loving people well, can you imagine?

Imagine when we came here, if everyone, it was so filled up with the love of God, we're so ready to be poured out to people. Imagine what would be like in our worship. When we sing worship and that we'd be so much more free and so much more just alive and imagine what the conversations would be. They wouldn't be just like this.

Oh, how are you? What'd you do today? What's happening this week? No, wouldn't be like that at all. They'd be deep and meaningful conversations. Our hospitality would be warmer than you'd ever imagine people would encounter. Not just nice people, but people that actually love Jesus and he's spilling out over into them.

I was, I heard about one guy today sitting over in the corner. Hope you don't make me mention to you. I want, yeah, I will. His name's Levi, a young fellow over there. I only met him last week. He's been coming for a little while. I had no idea. He's coming from Brisbane. He comes down to Brisbane to be here because he feels like God is meeting him here and he's learning some things that's helpful for him to be conformed to the image of Christ today.

He, if something broke down, so he arrived in the varsity station. I think he walked here. So he got off the train and VA and walked here to be here. He even had to deal with adversary magpies. Were after him everywhere. But that's what I'm saying is that when someone finds out that there's a place that follows Jesus place, that's gonna help them to learn how to love Jesus and love others, and they know that they're gonna be helped to do with this 'cause we've all got this.

If we all didn't grow up in perfect families, then over time what happens is this changes this, which is something that we'll get to in a little while. But we wanna be that China church. We wanna be that kind of church that loves well. I often say to people, don't invite people to church. You are the church.

Go out, let his love spill on them, love on them. Teach them how to follow Jesus. Introduce them. After that, Jesus will tell 'em where to go. If he wants 'em to go to a family gathering, if you want to come here, great. If not, there's 300 others on the Gold Coast. There's plenty to choose from. You know what I mean?

We gotta keep getting, we've gotta keep it right and make sure our motives are right and everything is pure. So here's what I want to do. I wanna say welcome to spillover. We've started the journey. We've begun the journey. It's gonna be on four or five weeks. I'd encourage you. Normally I say it, come as often as you need to, but try and make this one a priority because this is something that we're all dealing with and I.

Every week I'm hearing of devastating situations where families are suddenly erupted. Businesses have gone bad, people have done the most ridiculous things and don't even know how they got there. I can tell you how you got there. When it was small, you didn't listen, you didn't deal with it, and then because you knew that wasn't right, I don't feel like I should talk to God anymore.

So then I'll stop my sub devotions, spiritual suicide. And then it erupts. So here's what I wanna do. I actually want to create a reflection moment for you guys right now and for you guys online as well, because what I've just shared, I know that the Holy Spirit is gonna be speaking to a whole bunch of you about things that you know are not quite right.

So I've asked the team the keyword play just to play because you have to make the decision. You've gotta make some tough decisions and you've gotta make some very, have a very authentic conversation with you. What have you got down in your life right now that you have a sneaky feeling? And there might only be a sneaky feeling if I don't deal with that is going to one day spill over and it's gonna destroy people.

It is gonna hurt me and it's gonna hurt the people in the world around me. And if you are a follower of Christ, one of the key things for us always. It's not just this term repentance where you give your life to Christ to start with and you make one decision to repent. That's a starting point. But repentance and salvation is an ongoing process where you are being completely Rs every area of your life.

But that takes time. So for those of us that are in a position where we, you know what, we have been following Christ and we were doing really well. But you know of late. I'm just nowhere near that. So the repentance for you is saying to the Lord, oh Lord, I'm really sorry. I'm sorry. I've allowed that to pollute my well and the Holy Spirit.

I wanna repent of that. Repent means to renew your mind. It means to change and go the opposite direction, and you make the decision with the Holy Spirit. So those of you that are Christ followers, I want you right now, close your eyes. I'm gonna keep talking, but you don't listen to me. You listen to the Holy Spirit.

Allow God to speak to you about what this thing is. 'cause you don't want this thing erupting and spilling over and destroying everything. Now, if you happen to be sitting here and you go, I have no idea I've never even started the journey, it's exactly the same thing for you. Your prayer is just, Lord, I know I'm broken.

I know I'm filled with inconsistencies. I know I can't fix myself. And that's where the power of the cross comes in. Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. And you just simply say, Lord, I'm no, I'm broken. Please help me out of this brokenness. So right now, I surrender my life to Christ. I thank you that he came and he died for my sins.

He took the punishment that I deserve, and then after rising from the dead, he has given me hope. He's given me hope and the potential of eternal life. All I have to do is stop trying to fix myself 'cause we can't fix it ourselves. So for you, if you've never surrendered your life to Christ, your first prayer is just like this.

And it's a prayer. I pray consistently because there are times when I do get outta shape like you, and it's the prayer that goes, father, I'm broken. I know I can't fix myself. I know there's stuff going on down in the well of my life that is just, it's bursting to get out. And if I don't deal with this thing, it's gonna one day destroy me.

So right now, I make the decision I'm not going to fix myself. I'm gonna surrender my life to you. I'm gonna ask you to come into my life by your spirit, to be my Lord, to be my savior, and to be my king, and then I'll trust you that over time. Over time, you'll conform me to the image of Christ and the well of my life won't be dark and driven by sin and death.

It'll be driven by the power and the presence of God. So allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.

Just gonna wait for a moment and give you time just to process. What do you need to let go of for those of us that are a place that we need to repent and turn back because we've allowed things. And for those of you just to let us settle, if you decided to pray that prayer for the first time, you're starting a whole new journey, everything will change.

And in some ways, nothing will change. It'll look exactly the same on the outside, but you'll notice on the inside. You'll notice things are different. I talked to a young man a few weeks back that gave surrender his life to Christ, and he said, I don't know why circumstances haven't changed, but everything seems to look different.

Everything doesn't look as dark, everything doesn't look as hopeless, and I feel like I've got hope. And that maybe is your first starting point. And if you did pray that prayer, make sure you tell someone. Just say, Hey, I started following Jesus today. Could you help me on the journey? So Father, I just thank you for this series.

I have a sneaky suspicion that you are doing something very significant and you're gonna change us. And at the end of this five week journey, we are not gonna be the same. And that is a really good thing. Holy Spirit, you're gonna teach us. How to stay connected to the vine. You're gonna teach us how out of that intimacy connection, to allow the love of God to spill out over us, to everywhere, to our families, to our friends, in the workplace, wherever we are, so that people can see, not just us, but see the evidence of Jesus working in us.

So Holy Spirit. Continue to do our work, I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
