THINK TOO SMALL, YOU’LL MISS IT ALL

SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

OBSERVATION: God is building His church through His son, Jesus, and through imperfect revolutionaries like Paul, Peter and every other person who is sold out to the great commission. It didn’t matter how educated they were or what struggles they had in their own brokenness and inadequacy, they realised that on their own they can do nothing, but when they surrender and allow the power of God to work within them, He can do immeasurably more than they can ask or imagine – according to His purpose and plan.

APPLICATION: There is so much that I can imagine regarding how far and wide the gospel can advance through OurChurch being surrendered to God and His power within. But I must face the fact that whatever it is I can imagine, He is able to do immeasurably more. I need to allow Him to work within me so that His gospel can expand.  

PRAYER: Father, I surrender to your spirit and all you have for us as a people. Stop me from thinking small and missing it all. Amen.
